Passion Grants Foundation Partners with NFF Gridiron Club of Dallas for New Scholarship Program
Passion Grants Foundation to Provide New Scholarship Award at the NFF Gridiron Club of Dallas Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet for the Next Five Years
DALLAS, Texas (Mar. 7, 2024) – The NFF Gridiron Club of Dallas, the north Texas chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame, Inc., is pleased to announce their partnership with the Passion Grants Foundation for a new college scholarship program. This program, starting in 2024, will provide a $2,500 college scholarship to one deserving high school senior at the NFF Gridiron Club of Dallas Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet for the next five years.
"We are excited to partner with the Passion Grants Foundation for this new scholarship program at our awards banquet over the next several years," said NFF Gridiron Club of Dallas Chapter president Gerald Brence, a member of the Texas High School Coaches Association Hall of Honor and current assistant football coach at McKinney Christian Academy. "The mission of the Passion Grants Foundation is closely tied to our objectives through their efforts to support scholar-athletes determined to enrich their communities and the lives of others."

“We are overjoyed to partner with an organization with a long history of making a positive impact in the lives of so many,” said Passion Grants Foundation Director Folger Hogg, a member of NFF Westchester’s 2019 Golden Dozen Team. “As a member of NFF and brother of Carter Hogg, a 2022 NFF Gridiron Club of Dallas Army Black Knight Award Recipient, we are proud to help support the newest generation of NFF athletes.”
Athletes honored at the NFF Gridiron Club of Dallas Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet who wish to be considered for this scholarship are invited to compose a 500-word essay exploring one of their passions. This intentionally broad prompt is designed to inspire reflection on what truly excites them and to afford the greatest scope for creativity in their responses.
